Here are some of our presentations in 16th October 2024.
Spirou
Spirou and Fantasio, created by the Belgian author André Franquin, are emblematic characters in French-Belgian comic strips. Spirou, the energetic young bellboy, and his journalist friend Fantasio have wild adventures, often tinged with humour and absurdity. With cartoonist Tome and scriptwriter Janry, the series has evolved, adding a modern touch while retaining the original spirit. The stories take place in a variety of settings, from big cities to exotic lands, and feature memorable secondary characters such as the Marsupilami and the Count of Champignac. Their friendship and spirit of adventure make each album a celebration of the imagination.

Data Commander
Commander Data is an iconic character from the series ‘Star Trek: The Next Generation’. Created by Dr. Noonien Soong, Data is an android with exceptional intelligence and great physical strength. His quest to understand humanity and its emotions makes him unique among the crew of the USS Enterprise. Data is often seen as the representative of logic and rationality, in contrast to the more human emotions of his comrades. He has an eidetic memory, which enables him to learn and retain an immense amount of information. Despite his android status, he aspires to become more human, exploring themes of identity and consciousness. His loyalty to his crew and his intellectual curiosity make him an essential member of the team.

Jean Luc Picard
Jean-Luc Picard is the iconic captain of the starship USS Enterprise in the series ‘Star Trek: The Next Generation’. Born on Earth in 2305, he embodies the values of the United Federation of Planets, promoting peace, exploration and diplomacy. With an analytical mind and deep humanity, Picard faces many challenges, both intergalactic and personal. His inspirational leadership and ability to resolve conflicts have made him a respected and admired figure. Through his adventures, he reminds us of the importance of intellectual curiosity and respect for other cultures.
